Gliwickie Biuro Projektów Budownictwa Przemysłowego PROJPRZEM S.A. was established in 1948. Since then, we have consistently provided services at the highest level and expanded our expertise through numerous domestic and international contracts.


We deliver design and engineering services in 18 countries around the world. We are one of the strongest and most reputable engineering and consulting firms in Poland. By continuing our tradition of delivering high-quality projects, we maintain our commitment to excellence

Development Based on Tradition…

  • 1948 r. — Debut as the Centralne Biuro Projektów Budownictwa Przemysłowego, founded by young engineers from the Silesian University of Technology, graduates, and students. The primary goal: reconstruction of industrial facilities destroyed during the war, such as those in the Chemical Plants in Oświęcim, the “Kościuszko” steelworks in Chorzów, and the Jaworzno power plant.
  • 1951 r. — Transformation of the Office into a state-owned enterprise, increasing its potential in the market of design services in the following years. Projects include the design of the Mazovian Refinery and Petrochemical Plants in Płock, marking the acceptance of new challenges.
  • 1976-1977 r. — The peak period of the company’s development, with employment reaching an average of 500 people.
  • 1996 r. — ransformation into a joint-stock company with assets leased by employees, and the first major contract: the design of a production plant for General Motors — Opel in Gliwice.

We are the sole representative of Poland in the MERGE group, which brings together selected design offices from across Europe.




In 2009, we received prestigious awards for the development of our company: the “Gazela Biznesu” title and the “Diament” award from Forbes magazine. These accolades recognize our outstanding growth and success as a business.
